Over 300 Arrested at London Protest Supporting Palestine Action
The Metropolitan Police arrested 325 individuals during a demonstration outside the US embassy in London supporting the banned group Palestine Action, according to official reports. This brings the total number of arrests related to Palestine Action to over 4,000 since its proscription in July 2025. Earlier, police had detained dozens of protesters after warning that supporting Palestine Action was unlawful.
The demonstration called for the lifting of the ban on the group, with activists expressing their support despite the legal restrictions. The protests and subsequent arrests highlight ongoing tensions surrounding the proscription of Palestine Action, with legal challenges to the ban expected to be heard in the Supreme Court.
