Mayor says Trump will grant visa to mother of slain Bronx teen
Mayor Zohran Mamdani said on 2 November that President Donald Trump had agreed to grant an immediate travel visa to the mother of 15-year-old Javits Frimpong, who was killed in a Bronx shooting. The Guardian reported that Frimpong, a Ghanaian immigrant who had lived in New York for a year, was shot and killed near Corona Park in the Bronx on 29 October as he walked to school. Police are searching for three teenage suspects.
