NFL player allegations rise as Jaguars lose Hamilton, Cardinals QB decision pending
Yahoo Sports reported that the Jacksonville Jaguars placed defensive tackle DaVon Hamilton on the season-ending injured list on 2 November because of a torn quadriceps, and that Arizona Cardinals head coach Mike LaFleur said he had not yet decided on a permanent starting quarterback after the team's overtime victory. Earlier, police records released by the Hobart-Lawrence Police Department and reported by NBC26 detailed statements from three women who alleged physical assaults by Packers running back Josh Jacobs in 2021 and 2022, expanding the investigation that began with his May 2026 domestic-violence arrest.
The NFL announced it was reviewing the new allegations, according to ProFootballRumors. com, and Jacobs's lawyers denied the three accusations, NBC Sports said.
