Packers defeat Panthers 27-19 behind Love's three TDs
The Green Bay Packers defeated the Carolina Panthers 27-19 on night, 29 October, as quarterback Jordan Love delivered three touchdown passes and the defense recorded six sacks, despite a weak rushing attack, according to post-game reports. Both clubs entered the Night Football contest after recent losses; the Panthers were looking to stave off a second defeat while the Packers sought to remain in the NFC North race, as noted in pre-game coverage. The tightly contested game saw the lead change several times, with both sides battling injuries and turnovers, before Green Bay held off a late Panthers rally to secure the win.
