Skydance Sports Group Unveils New Executive Team After Merger
On October 29, Skydance Sports Group announced that Jeff Gerttula and Craig Barry had been named to senior roles in the newly formed Global Sports Group and presented an expanded leadership roster. The memo to staff said Gerttula would serve as chief operating officer and Barry would take a key finance position. These appointments build on earlier moves that began on October 28, when CFO Dennis Cinelli detailed a new finance leadership team for the merged Paramount-Warner Bros.
Discovery entity. Later that day, Skydance TV co-chair and chief George Cheeks disclosed a restructured executive lineup across the company's studios, sports, entertainment and news divisions. Front Office Sports reported that Skydance Sports also reorganized CBS and TNT Sports leadership, adding new executives and noting several departures as the two sports assets were integrated.
