Kutryk says ISS spacewalk reshaped his view of Earth
Canadian astronaut Joshua Kutryk said the seven-hour spacewalk on the International Space Station on 29 October gave him a new perspective on Earth, after he and NASA astronaut Anil Menon completed the mission. NASA and the Canadian Space Agency reported that the EVA lasted about seven hours, during which the penultimate roll-out solar array (IROSA) was deployed, adding roughly eight kilowatts of power and marking the 100th U. S.
spacewalk from the station. The installation was the seventh of eight planned IROSA upgrades and was Kutryk’s first spacewalk, a task that had been announced earlier in the week.
