Apple TV+ launches “Nocturne” serial-killer drama amid criticism
Slate reported that Apple TV+ launched the serial-killer drama “Nocturne,” starring Stephen Graham and set in Pennsylvania, on 27 October, drawing mixed reactions to its plot and character development. Earlier coverage described the series as a fast-paced noir thriller with strong performances from Graham and an ensemble cast that includes Bill Camp, Poorna Jagannathan, Rory Culkin, Gary Carr, Chrissy Metz, Tim Van Patten, Anu Menon, Joffe and John Hlavin. The first two episodes were released for streaming, with new installments scheduled weekly through 25 December, and critics noted both praise for the compelling premise and a slower start to the narrative.
