Trump rallies in Texas as Talarico campaigns nearby
President Donald Trump held rallies in Corpus Christi and Lubbock on 25 October, supporting Republican candidates, while Democratic Senate candidate James Talarico staged a separate campaign event in Lubbock the same night, CNN reported. Earlier in the week, Trump appeared with former college football players in Texas to boost turnout for Attorney General Ken Paxton's Senate campaign, MS NOW reported.
Fox News said Trump would speak in Corpus Christi and Lubbock a week before Election Day as part of a Republican push to increase turnout in key Senate contests. The Independent noted that during those rallies Trump promoted Paxton and warned that election results should be accepted only if the voting process was honest.
