Indian courts extend stay on Imran Khan, grant relief to Shah Rukh Khan
The Delhi High Court granted OCI actor Shah Rukh Khan interim relief after he issued an unconditional apology for alleged protest participation and warned against future involvement. The Bombay High Court ordered actor Imran Khan to apologise for joining a protest over the Special Intensive Revision exercise and extended the suspension of the Leave India notice pending his response. Earlier, Imran Khan asked the Foreigners Regional Registration Office for the evidence cited in a show-cause notice, and the court had already paused the FRRO's deportation order, delaying any action until the next hearing.
