Indian equities eyed higher open as Reliance, Jio and NTPC in focus
Livemint reported that Indian equities were expected to open higher with Reliance Industries, Jio Platforms and NTPC among the stocks that could influence trading. Earlier in the week, The Economic Times said the Nifty 50 and Sensex rose modestly on after Reliance Industries and Jio Platforms posted strong quarterly profits. The Economic Times also noted that the Nifty 50 had climbed 1. 05% to 22,937 as investors awaited September-quarter results.
Upstox earlier highlighted that Reliance and Jio Platforms were set to announce Q2 FY27 earnings and that Paytm had posted a ten-fold profit surge, while the market was expected to open lower. Upstox also reported Jio Platforms’ planned listing on the BSE and NSE on Oct. 28.
