Russian drone strike kills 14 in Dnipro as Oleshky truce continues
CBS News reported that a Russian jet-powered drone struck two passenger trains at Dnipro’s main railway station on 25 October, killing at least 14 people and wounding many, including children, and that a localized cease-fire in Oleshky, credited to U. S. first lady Melania Trump, entered its third day.
Earlier reports from Al Jazeera and the BBC had placed the death toll at 13 and later at 14, respectively. The attacks followed a series of drone strikes attributed to Ukraine that hit Russia’s Belgorod, Lipetsk and Perm regions, killing five people, and a separate strike in Voronezh that killed two and injured 17, according to The Moscow Times and Kyiv Post.
