El 29 de octubre de 2026, el New York Times lanzó su rompecabezas Strands con el tema “Double, double toil and trouble”, un spangram de una sola palabra y la lista completa de palabras solución, según PC Guide. El 26 de octubre de 2026, CNET informó que la edición tenía el tema “Please, be my guest! ” e incluía palabras como HOST, MEET, INVITE, RECEIVE, WELCOME y ENTERTAIN.

PC Guide señaló que esa misma edición contenía un spangram de 11 letras que recorría la cuadrícula de arriba a la esquina inferior izquierda. Un día después, CNET describió la edición del 27 de octubre como basada en el tema “Who you gonna call? ” y también con un spangram.
