Prosecutors move toward closing arguments in Beau Lamarre-Condon murder trial
Prosecutors in the New South Wales Supreme Court outlined their case against former police officer Beau Lamarre-Condon as they moved toward closing arguments in his double-murder trial. The court heard a secretly recorded prison call in which Lamarre-Condon urged a friend not to discuss the case and described details of the alleged killings. A witness later testified that he arrived unannounced at her home, drank champagne and scrubbed blood from his van after the murders.
Lamarre-Condon told the court that bullying and psychological trauma had affected his behavior following the killings, and said he was not evading investigators. Photographs presented showed cuts and abrasions on his hands after his arrest.
