Thunder guard Jalen Williams to miss season after surgery
NBA. com reported that the Oklahoma City Thunder announced guard Jalen Williams will undergo surgery on his broken left fibula and dislocated ankle, a procedure that will end his season. The team also said forward Cason Wallace requires surgery for a labral tear, likely sidelining him for the remainder of the campaign.
Williams was stretchered off the court late in the fourth quarter of the Oct. 23 game against the Los Angeles Clippers after a flagrant-1 foul by Kris Dunn, sustaining a lower-leg injury that forced him to be taken to the locker room.
