Seahawks coach declines to confirm Charbonnet’s Week 8 status
Seattle head coach Mike Macdonald said on 26 October that the Seahawks would stick to their plan for running back Zach Charbonnet’s return but did not confirm whether he would be available for the Week 8 matchup against the Chicago Bears. The team added Charbonnet to the 53-man roster on 22 October after he recovered from ACL surgery. Although cleared from the physically unable to perform list, the Seahawks announced he would remain inactive for the Week 7 game against the Kansas City Chiefs, and later confirmed he would sit out that contest.
