Oil prices fluctuate amid Houthi attacks and US diplomatic pullout
Oil prices slipped slightly but stayed above $100 a barrel on 26 October after Houthi attacks on tankers in the Strait of Hormuz and strikes on Saudi facilities kept supply concerns high, OilPrice. com reported.
Earlier, Reuters said prices had risen on 22 October when the United States ordered diplomats and their families to leave Saudi missions following recent Houthi attacks, heightening market worries. The Star later noted a dip after a brief rally, and CNBC reported a fall of more than 2% amid fears of further attacks and potential demand weakening.
