Milwaukee police estimate 750,000 attend Brewers championship parade
Milwaukee police said more than 750,000 people attended the Brewers' World Series championship parade on October 23, a turnout that could set a state record for a single-day event. The city had announced a parade for the Brewers' first World Series victory, with the route ending at Henry Maier Festival Park and free admission. Public schools cancelled classes on to let students join the celebration, and the team opened American Family Field for public watch parties during Games 3 and 4, offering tickets and parking for purchase.
