Titans cut Jordan Elliott after firearm incident at Nashville facility
NBC Sports reported on October 22 that the Tennessee Titans cut defensive tackle Jordan Elliott after an altercation involving a firearm at the team's Nashville facility, and teammate JC Latham commented on the situation. The release followed a locker-room dispute in which Elliott retrieved a gun from his car. Coach Robert Saleh had earlier described the incident as a lapse in judgment rather than a criminal act.
The NFL launched a review after learning Elliott had taken the firearm from his vehicle in the team parking lot. The Titans initially announced Elliott’s release on October 20 as part of early-season roster moves.
