Six Flags Over Georgia coaster ejection kills man, injures four
Six Flags Over Georgia confirmed that a 42-year-old man died after being ejected from the Goliath hypercoaster, and four other riders were injured, on 12 October. The park shut the ride, evacuated riders and temporarily suspended nine similar attractions at six of its parks while authorities investigated.
Cobb County Police Department said the coaster stopped mid-ride, prompting the evacuation and a major-crimes investigation. Earlier reports highlighted a history of maintenance concerns and injury claims across the Six Flags chain.
