Apple opens pre-order preparation for iPhone Duo ahead of Friday launch
Apple has enabled a “get ready for pre-order” window, allowing customers to configure iPhone Duo specifications and payment options before official pre-orders begin on Friday.
Apple announced that customers can now begin configuring their iPhone Duo orders through the Apple Store online or the Apple Store app. The pre-order preparation window, which has been offered in recent years, lets shoppers select color, storage capacity, carrier choice and preferred payment method—including full payment, Apple Card financing, the Apple Upgrade program, or carrier offers. Completing these steps in advance will enable a faster checkout when official pre-orders start on Friday morning. The “get ready” option is available today and is expected to remain open through much of Friday, October 15. Customers will need to return to the Apple Store app or website on Friday, October 16 at 5 a.m. PT/8 a.m. ET to finalize their purchase.
