Sean “Diddy” Combs transferred to Pennsylvania prison after hospital stay
The Federal Bureau of Prisons transferred Sean “Diddy” Combs from a low-security facility in New Jersey to the Federal Correctional Institution Allenwood Low in Pennsylvania after a brief hospital stay for a head injury, the agency said. The move was justified on safety and security grounds. Combs had been taken to a New Jersey hospital in early October after striking his head on a bunk bed at FCI Fort Dix, his spokesperson confirmed.
His relatives later denied reports that the injury resulted from a fight with another inmate, and federal officials refuted any altercation, saying details of the hospital visit were limited. The Bureau of Prisons also said the transfer followed a reported contraband cellphone violation.
