Jackson given realistic chance to play in Week 6 vs Browns
On October 14, Ravens head coach Jesse Minter said quarterback Lamar Jackson was improving after missing Week 5 and had a realistic chance to play in the Week 6 matchup against the Cleveland Browns. Jackson had left the October 4 game against the Tennessee Titans after sustaining a twisted ankle on a sack, prompting backup Tyler Huntley to finish the second half.
The team later scheduled an MRI for the injury and listed his status for the following week's game against Atlanta as doubtful. He subsequently missed a practice with a hamstring issue, and the team confirmed he would sit out at least one game, with Huntley slated to start the next contest against the Falcons.
