Michael Douglas Addresses Wife's Disinterest in His Memoir on Kimmel
Michael Douglas said on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" that his wife Catherine Zeta-Jones has not read his new memoir, "One Helluva Ride," after she told the Today show she hadn't yet done so. Earlier in October, Douglas' memoir revealed a decades-old affair with Kathleen Turner during the filming of "Romancing the Stone," as reported by The Independent, and also disclosed extramarital relationships with Jeanne Tripplehorn and other women, according to Fox News. AOL. com noted that the book recounts his 2013 separation from Zeta-Jones and their reconciliation in early 2014.
Page Six highlighted that Douglas credited humor, communication and empathy for sustaining their marriage. Yahoo reported Zeta-Jones said she was too busy to read the memoir but recommended it to others. Realtor. com added that Douglas wrote about NBA star Kobe Bryant frequently visiting the couple’s Pacific Palisades home in the late 1990s.
