Dolly Parton estate secures restraining order against nephew after security dismissal
According to CBS News, a Tennessee judge granted a temporary restraining order against Bryan Seaver, the late singer’s nephew, on 25 September, and Vulture reported that the estate also filed a lawsuit alleging he sent threatening messages. Seaver had been removed from his position as head of security for the estate on 16 September after a dispute with the DP Dean Trust that manages the singer’s assets.
The estate had earlier sought the restraining order, citing intimidation linked to demands for payment. Family members, including sister Freida Parton and cousin Stella Parton, said the family remains united and denied any feud despite the legal action.
