Apple will pay up to $95 to qualifying iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max and iPhone 16 owners as part of a $250 million settlement over alleged false advertising of Siri features.

Apple has agreed to a $250 million settlement of a class-action lawsuit accusing the company of misleading customers about Siri’s new AI capabilities. The settlement, which does not constitute an admission of liability, allows owners of certain iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max and iPhone 16 models purchased between June 10, 2024 and March 29, 2025 to file a claim for a cash payment.

Eligible claimants must be the original purchasers of the device and use it for personal or professional purposes, not resale. Claims can be submitted through SmartphoneAISettlement.com by providing basic contact information and the phone’s serial number. Claimants may choose payment via PayPal, Venmo, direct deposit or check, and are limited to one payment per device.

The initial payment is $25 per eligible device, with the amount potentially rising to $95 depending on the total number of valid claims and other factors. The filing window remains open until Dec. 21, 2026. A district court in San Jose is scheduled to hear the settlement on Feb. 24, 2027; absent any appeal, payments will be processed promptly.

"The $250 million settlement fund represents the largest false advertising settlement in history," said Ryan Clarkson, co-lead counsel for the class-action lawsuit.

Apple declined to comment on the matter.
