Eagles move Dickerson to IR, promote Covey, add Deguara
The Philadelphia Eagles placed left guard Landon Dickerson on injured reserve on 13 September and, on 15 September, promoted return specialist Britain Covey to the active roster while adding tight end Josiah Deguara to the practice squad. The move followed Dickerson’s self-admitted poor performance in the season opener and a knee bone bruise that limited his play, prompting team officials to say he will miss at least four weeks. The Eagles said interior backups Drew Kendall, Willie Lampkin and Micah Morris will fill the gap.
