Mariska Hargitay to Host 2026 Emmys in Sequined Ensemble
Actress Mariska Hargitay will host the 2026 Emmy Awards, becoming the first woman to do so since 2011, and was seen in a sequined skirt suit at a press preview.
Mariska Hargitay attended a press preview for the 2026 Emmy Awards on September 10 in Los Angeles, where she wore a sequined skirt suit with a flared-hem jacket, matching pencil skirt, suede pumps and oversized sunglasses. The 62-year-old "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" star will host the ceremony on September 14, marking the first time a woman has emceed the event since Jane Lynch in 2011. Hargitay, a three-time Emmy winner, also received two awards for her 2026 documentary "My Mom Jayne." > "It was so fun. It's the best music video," Hargitay said on the "Call Her Daddy" podcast about working with Taylor Swift on the "Bad Blood" video. The actress has previously appeared with Swift at a Knicks game and attended Swift and Travis Kelce's wedding in July.
