The Takeout reported that O'Charley's Restaurant & Bar announced the immediate shutdown of its remaining 52 U. S. locations on September 9, 2026, ending a 55-year presence amid declining sales.

Earlier reports said the chain’s owner, Cannae Holdings, was reviewing its portfolio and had already reduced the number of company-owned restaurants to 49 before deciding to close all sites, according to Restaurant Dive.
