President Trump appears with darker, differently styled hair during New Jersey visit
Donald Trump was seen in New Jersey with a darker hair color and a reversed side part, prompting renewed speculation about his hairstyle.
President Donald Trump arrived in New Jersey on Friday with noticeably darker hair and a side part that had been switched to the opposite side. The change follows recent commentary suggesting he might be using a hairpiece to cover a growing bald area.
During a Rose Garden address on Thursday, Trump said, "I don’t wear a wig," while referencing a windy rally in Ohio in March as evidence that a wig would not stay in place under such conditions.
Biographer Michael Wolff told listeners of the Inside Trump’s Head podcast that the president carries a portable “hair patch kit” containing small tufts of hair and a paste for on-the-go touch-ups. Wolff said the kit has been used since Trump’s first term and is maintained by staff members.
The White House has not responded to requests for comment.
