Las Vegas police say missing New York grandmother died after airport collapse
On 22 August, Las Vegas police said 63-year-old Alisa Goods, a New York grandmother who vanished on 8 August, died after collapsing in a drainage ditch near Harry Reid International Airport, with surveillance video capturing her fall. Police had recovered her remains in the ditch on 21 August, confirming the identity as Goods, a resident of Manhattan’s Upper East Side. Her family later confirmed the death, and earlier reports noted that she had been missing for nearly two weeks and that mysterious Bitcoin-related texts had been sent from her phone, according to Fox News.
