Samsung launches Galaxy Z Fold 8 as reviewers critique Ultra model
Samsung introduced the Galaxy Z Fold 8, a premium foldable phone with a shorter, wider passport-style chassis, Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, dual 50-MP rear cameras and a starting price of $1,899, according to bgr. com. Reviewers noted that the Z Fold 8’s 4:3 inner display improves gaming, photography, reading and multitasking (bgr.
com). The Z Fold 8 Ultra, while equipped with premium hardware and a refined design, was reported to lag behind the smaller Fold 8 in sales and user preference (Android Police). Senior reviewer Sam Rutherford added that the Ultra failed to deliver the performance and design improvements expected of a flagship model (Engadget).
