Thai police cite violent videos, prior BB gun seizure after school shooting
Thai police said the 14-year-old shooter who killed six people at Debsirin Nonthaburi School near Bangkok had viewed violent social-media videos and earlier had a BB gun confiscated, and the education ministry announced plans for new school-safety measures. Police earlier reported that the ninth-grade student opened fire at the school, killing at least two and wounding dozens. Subsequent reports raised the death toll to six and later to eight, including the shooter and his grandparents, as the incident unfolded.
