Former Miss North Carolina USA to Sue Over Title Revocation
Former Miss North Carolina USA Brittany Boltinhouse announced she will file a lawsuit, alleging that her removal from the state title was discrimination because of her Christian faith and conservative views in North Carolina. The Miss USA organization had earlier stripped Boltinhouse of the Miss North Carolina USA 2026 crown after a review of newly surfaced information, citing violations of its standards on racism and homophobia, and named first runner-up Myla Hadley as the state's representative at the Miss USA competition. Initial reports said the title was reassigned following an undisclosed controversy.
