Twin Falls Police Release Video Detailing In-N-Out Shooting
On August 7, Twin Falls police released surveillance and body-camera footage of the August 1 mass shooting at an In-N-Out Burger in Twin Falls, Idaho, showing the gunman’s movements and the response by an off-duty state trooper and a civilian who fired at the shooter. The video confirms three people were killed and ten injured. The attack began on August 1 when a 24-year-old opened fire inside the restaurant, killing three and wounding ten.
An off-duty Idaho state trooper and 35-year-old healthcare worker Jordan Salinas returned fire, actions police said helped limit further casualties. A temporary shelter-in-place order was issued and later lifted, Chick-fil-A was closed for the rest of the day, and the nearby Magic Valley Mall was placed on lockdown.
