Apple releases iOS 26.6, iPadOS 26.6 and macOS Tahoe 26.6 with extensive security patches
Apple rolled out iOS, iPadOS and macOS Tahoe version 26.6, fixing roughly 90 iOS/iPadOS and more than 130 macOS vulnerabilities, including kernel, WebKit, Wi-Fi and Siri issues.
Apple announced the release of iOS 26.6, iPadOS 26.6 and macOS Tahoe 26.6, each containing a large number of security updates. The mobile operating system updates address nearly 90 vulnerabilities that span components such as the App Store, the Neural Engine, the kernel, WebKit, Wi-Fi, Siri and the iPhone’s image-processing pipeline. macOS Tahoe 26.6 includes more than 130 fixes, many of which are also incorporated in macOS Sequoia 15.7.8 and macOS Sonoma 14.8.8 for devices running those versions. Additional Apple platforms—tvOS 26.6, watchOS 26.6 and visionOS 26.6—receive over 80 security patches each. Apple has not indicated that any of the flaws were actively exploited, but it advises users to install the updates to protect their devices.
"Details on all of the fixes can be found in Apple's security support document," the company said.
