Apple rolls out iOS, iPadOS and macOS 26.5.2 updates addressing 30 security flaws
Apple released iOS, iPadOS and macOS version 26.5.2, which contain security patches for roughly 30 vulnerabilities, primarily in WebKit and related web technologies.
Apple announced the availability of iOS, iPadOS and macOS 26.5.2 updates, all aimed at fixing security vulnerabilities. The release notes list only "security fixes" and the detailed security advisories show that the patches target more than 25 issues, with the majority addressing web components such as WebKit and WebRTC, and a few kernel-level bugs. Apple indicated that these fixes were initially included in iOS 26.6 beta builds before being pushed to all devices ahead of the public 26.6 release. Users of iPhone, iPad and Mac are advised to install the updates, which do not add new features but provide essential protection against known threats.
"These updates are recommended for installation by all iPhone, iPad, and Mac users," the company statement said.
