Summary

Chloe Fineman announced her exit from Saturday Night Live, ending a seven-year tenure that included notable celebrity impressions and a growing film career.

Chloe Fineman, a cast member of Saturday Night Live since 2019, confirmed she is leaving the show after seven seasons. She posted an Instagram carousel of photos and videos, thanking the cast, crew and creator Lorne Michaels, and describing the experience as “the greatest privilege of my life.”

Fineman, 37, began as a featured player before being promoted to the main cast in 2021. Her tenure included popular impressions of figures such as Melania Trump, Drew Barrymore and Britney Spears. She also noted the emotional highs and lows of the show, saying that performers give “absolutely everything” even when sketches fall short.

In recent years she has expanded into film, appearing in titles such as “Summer of 69,” “Freakier Friday,” and Francis Ford Coppola’s upcoming epic “Megalopolis.” Upcoming projects include the romantic comedy “Love Language” and the sports comedy “The Dink.”

Fineman is the first cast member to exit since the end of season 51, which saw several departures and new hires. Season 52 is slated to begin in the fall.
