Kim Scott, 51, who was previously married to rapper Marshall "Eminem" Mathers, was rushed to McLaren Macomb Hospital on Saturday following a self-inflicted wrist injury that caused significant bleeding, according to a Chesterfield Fire/EMS report. Emergency dispatch audio indicated that a caller reported Scott cutting her wrist, holding the knife, and later becoming unconscious before the knife was removed.
Paramedics transported Scott on a gurney to the hospital; her current medical status has not been released. The report noted a hemorrhage or laceration leading to uncontrolled bleeding.
Scott has a documented history of multiple suicide attempts, including a 2015 incident she later described as intentional and a 2021 attempt after her mother’s death. Recent months have seen her facing legal issues, such as a May arrest for alleged driving under the influence and a pending warrant for failure to appear at a DUI hearing.
The couple married in 1999, divorced in 2001, remarried in 2006, and divorced again three months later. They share three children together, and Scott also has a son from a later relationship.
