Kim Scott, ex-wife of rapper Eminem, hospitalized after fainting incident

Resumen

Kim Scott, 51, was taken to a Michigan hospital on Saturday after first responders reported she was unconscious, amid ongoing legal proceedings related to multiple drunk-driving charges.

Kim Scott, the former spouse of rapper Marshall "Eminem" Mathers, was transported to McLaren Macomb Hospital in Mount Clemens on Saturday after emergency crews responded to a call that she was unconscious or had fainted at her Chesterfield Township residence. The incident was documented in photographs and video obtained by a media outlet, showing her on a gurney being moved to an ambulance.

Authorities have not released details about her medical condition. The hospitalization occurs while Scott faces several pending court matters. In June, she missed a court appearance in New Baltimore for sentencing and a hearing in two separate impaired-driving cases. She had previously pleaded no contest to a February drunk-driving and hit-and-run incident, a charge that carries a maximum sentence of 93 days in jail. A separate felony charge for a third-offense impaired-driving incident could result in up to five years in prison and a $5,000 fine.

Scott's legal troubles date back to 2003, when she was arrested for drug possession and driving with a suspended license, and to a 2015 crash in Macomb Township that she later described as a suicide attempt after consuming alcohol. She and Eminem were married in 1999, remarried briefly in 2006, and share a daughter, Hailie.
