JPMorgan appoints two co-presidents as Marianne Lake retires, ending female CEO pipeline

Lake’s departure was described as a retirement, ending her tenure at the firm. The Financial Times, cited by the New York Post, said Lake forfeited roughly $50 million in unvested shares, and Fortune added that the decision closes the bank’s most prominent female pipeline to the CEO role.
