The Los Angeles County medical examiner's report reveals that 14-year-old Celeste Rivas Hernandez died from multiple penetrating injuries, leading to first-degree murder charges against singer D4vd.

The Los Angeles County medical examiner has determined that 14-year-old Celeste Rivas Hernandez died from multiple penetrating injuries, according to a newly unsealed report.

David Burke, known professionally as D4vd, has been charged with first-degree murder in connection with Hernandez's death. The 21-year-old singer was arrested last week following a months-long investigation.

The medical examiner's report indicates that Hernandez sustained two penetrating wounds to her torso, one of which injured her liver. Toxicology results showed presumptive positives for benzodiazepines and methamphetamine/MDMA in her system. The report also noted severe postmortem changes due to the time elapsed since death.

Hernandez's dismembered and decomposed body was discovered on September 8, 2025, in the trunk of a Tesla registered to Burke, which had been impounded in Hollywood.

Burke has pleaded not guilty to the charges and remains held without bail. A status conference in the case is scheduled for Thursday.

Hernandez's parents remembered her as a "beautiful, strong girl who loved to sing and dance," expressing their deep love and profound loss.
