Powerball Jackpot Reaches $1.1 Billion Ahead of Monday Drawing
The Powerball jackpot has climbed to $1.1 billion after no winner emerged in Saturday's drawing, with the next drawing scheduled for Monday night.
The Powerball jackpot has surged to an estimated $1.1 billion after no ticket matched all six numbers in Saturday's drawing. The winning numbers were 1, 28, 31, 57, 58, and the Powerball was 16.
This marks the sixth-largest jackpot in Powerball history and the second time this year the prize has exceeded $1 billion. The cash value of the current jackpot is approximately $503.4 million.
While the grand prize remains unclaimed, several players secured significant winnings. Two tickets sold in North Carolina and Pennsylvania matched five numbers plus the Power Play, each winning $2 million. Additionally, tickets in California, Florida, Michigan, New Jersey, and Virginia matched five numbers, earning $1 million each.
The next drawing is scheduled for Monday at 10:59 p.m. ET. Powerball tickets are available in 45 states, Washington, D.C., Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. The odds of winning the jackpot are 1 in 292.2 million.
