Apple Watch Series 12 and Ultra 4 to Offer AI-Powered Daily Recap Feature
Apple's upcoming Watch models will include an AI function that uses sensor data to create daily summaries, with audio not stored and the feature optional.
Apple is set to unveil its latest Watch lineup, including the Apple Watch Series 12 and Apple Watch Ultra 4, which will feature an AI-driven daily recap function. The feature will continuously analyze inputs from the microphone, GPS and other sensors to generate summaries of the wearer’s activities and conversations, storing the results in the Siri app. > "The recaps do not store audio recordings and can be configured to run all day or only at specific locations," Bloomberg reporter Mark Gurman said. Apple says the implementation is designed to protect privacy, with no audio transcripts retained on the device. The new watches will incorporate updated chips capable of securely processing the incoming data. The announcement is part of a broader Apple event that also includes new iPhone models and other hardware updates.
