FX limited series "Legends" reunites Sons of Anarchy cast in meta-thriller

Summary

The upcoming FX/Hulu limited series "Legends," created by Charlie Hunnam, will feature the original Sons of Anarchy actors playing themselves at a fan convention, blending fiction with a real-world threat.

A new limited series for FX and Hulu will bring together the original cast of "Sons of Anarchy" in a self-referential thriller titled "Legends." The show is created, written and headlined by former series star Charlie Hunnam, who also appears as himself alongside Ron Perlman, Katey Sagal, Maggie Siff, Mark Boone Junior, Tommy Flanagan, Kim Coates and Theo Rossi. The premise follows the actors reuniting at a fan convention more than a decade after the original series ended, where the distinction between their real lives and on-screen personas blurs as they confront a dangerous real-world threat. The series was developed with Jonathan Groff, who also serves as an executive producer, and Rob Mac, known for his work on "It’s Always Sunny," is also attached as an executive producer.
