Aaron Donald returns to Rams facility for second workout

Resumen

Defensive tackle Aaron Donald completed a second workout at the Los Angeles Rams' Woodland Hills facility as he evaluates a possible return to the NFL.

Aaron Donald, the three-time Defensive Player of the Year, performed a second workout at the Los Angeles Rams' training complex in Woodland Hills on Sunday, following an initial session on Aug. 5. The NFL’s personnel notice confirmed the defensive tackle’s presence at the facility.

Donald, who has not played since the 2023 season, began contemplating a comeback after the Rams acquired two-time Defensive Player of the Year Myles Garrett. He has not announced a decision, and the team has not set a deadline for him.

"I’m hopeful that it will be sooner than later, but I also want to respect when he does feel like that clarity will come," Rams head coach Sean McVay said on Saturday. "I don’t want to say too much or put some sort of invisible deadline on something that doesn’t exist in my mind for him."

The Rams have not indicated any timeline for a potential return, and Donald’s future remains undecided.
