Giants hold final training-camp practice before preseason debut

摘要

The New York Giants will conduct their 14th training-camp session Thursday, the last before opening the preseason against the Vikings on Saturday.

The New York Giants are scheduled to hold their 14th practice Thursday afternoon at the Quest Diagnostics Training Center, marking the final workout before the team's preseason opener at MetLife Stadium against the Minnesota Vikings on Saturday.

Head coach Brian Daboll said players are beginning to shift their focus toward the upcoming game. > "Guys can feel it. It's always the last couple days here. You get that grind 10, 12 days in and now you've got the three, four days, we're still trying to get better. We're still trying to focus on technique. We're making the most of these days and I'm preaching that, but you can see their attention is starting to go toward the game."

The Thursday session will be conducted without pads, and Daboll indicated the intensity will be slightly reduced compared to the previous day's practice. Questions remain about the possible involvement of rookie Terrion Arnold, who is under legal scrutiny, and whether any of the numerous injured players will return to the field.

Further updates, highlights, and analysis are expected after the practice concludes.
