Undiscovered Nintendo cartridges unearthed in Wisconsin may have high collector value

A storage box found in Waukesha, Wisconsin, contained close to 100 Nintendo Entertainment System cartridges, including a previously undocumented variant of Super Mario Bros. and Duck Hunt. Experts said the cartridges were manufactured two years after the last known production run and feature distinct labels, screws, manuals and motherboards. The seller indicated the games were originally sent to a metal-recovery service for melting, but the items were never destroyed. Several of the cartridges received the highest ten-grade rating from the Professional Sports Authenticator, indicating they are in excellent condition. The rarity and condition of the items suggest they could command high prices among collectors.
