TikTok Influencer Sydney Towle Moves to Hospice After Cancer Battle

Résumé

Sydney Towle, a 26-year-old TikTok creator diagnosed with stage 4 bile duct cancer, entered hospice care, according to a family announcement posted on TikTok.

Sydney Towle, a 26-year-old social-media personality who has shared her cholangiocarcinoma treatment with more than a million followers, has been moved to hospice care. The update was posted on August 4 by her brother, Austin Towde, who included a photo of Towle surrounded by relatives and friends. > "Sydney has been moved to hospice and is surrounded by her friends and family," Austin wrote, adding gratitude for the support received.

The family noted that Towle has been undergoing treatment for nearly three years, including chemotherapy, hospitalizations and participation in a clinical trial involving tumor-infiltrating lymphocyte therapy. Earlier reports indicated that tumors had spread to her lungs and liver, prompting a planned hospitalization for the next trial phase.

Towle previously rejected a recommendation to transition to end-of-life care, seeking a second opinion and continuing treatment. She also appeared publicly at Miami Swim Week in May, modeling swimwear designed for post-cancer bodies.

Friends and followers have been thanked by the family for their ongoing support during the illness.
