Linda Nosková and Karolína Muchová will meet in Saturday's Wimbledon women's final, continuing a three-decade streak of Czech champions at the tournament.

Linda Nosková defeated Marta Kostyuk 6-4, 6-4 on Thursday to book a place in Saturday's Wimbledon women's final against fellow Czech Karolína Muchová. The matchup will add another name to the list of Czech winners that includes Jana Novotná, Petra Kvitová, Markéta Vondroušová and Barbora Krejčíková over the past 30 years, as well as Martina Navratilova, who was born in former Czechoslovakia.

Nosková, 21, relied on a powerful serve that won 74 percent of first-serve points against Kostyuk and faced no break points until the second set. She also displayed strong net play, converting 15 of 18 points at the net. Muchová, who has been described as a grass-court specialist, reached the final after beating several major champions, including Naomi Osaka and Coco Gauff, in the semifinals.

"It’s a tradition at this point, we are all kind of brought up in the same way in Czechia, in our game styles, in our tennis, but in some ways we are very different," Nosková said after her quarterfinal win.

Both players have previously partnered in the women's doubles at the Paris Olympics, where they reached the semifinals. Their rise reflects the depth of Czech tennis, with Nosková citing Petra Kvitová’s Wimbledon victories as inspiration and Muchová recalling how earlier Czech champions gave her confidence to succeed.

Entering the final, Nosková is ranked No. 8 and Muchová No. 6, their highest career rankings to date. The contest will be the first all-Czech Grand Slam final since the 2017 U.S. Open and the first Wimbledon final featuring two players from the same nation since 2017.
