Comedian Nicole Arbour alleges Jelly Roll and Bunnie Xo divorce is a publicity stunt

Comedian Nicole Arbour said the divorce of Grammy-winning rapper Jelly Roll and his wife Bunnie Xo appears to be a publicity stunt designed to generate media attention and launch a new venture. Arbour, who previously released a diss track titled “Cosplay Christian,” told The Post that the couple is creating a “giant scandal with the press” and then planning to “launch something.”

Arbour has long accused Jelly Roll of misconduct, alleging threats, stalking and a murder plot in a series of Instagram posts called “The Jelly Roll Files.” She claimed to have filed a police report after a verbal assault on March 1, but the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department confirmed no charges were filed and an insider said the allegations lacked merit.

According to Arbour, she attempted a private settlement that included a hush-money offer, which she rejected before releasing her diss track. She also asserted that her feud caused friction in Jelly Roll’s marriage, led to the loss of a sponsor, and resulted in reduced ticket sales, with the artist allegedly giving away thousands of tickets.

A spokesperson for Jelly Roll declined to comment on the specific accusations and referenced Arbour’s previously dismissed lawsuits against another country rapper. Jelly Roll filed for divorce from Bunnie Xo in May after ten years of marriage, and the couple has said they are ending the marriage on amicable terms.

“I believe this divorce is a PR scandal,” Arbour said.

“They create a giant scandal with the press that they get off of, then launch something,” she added.
